Millisecond timing with a paper trail

VSYNC-locked onsets, high-resolution response stamps, Web Audio scheduling, and per-trial frame telemetry exported next to every response.

Timing engine

If you cannot show the frame record, the RT claim is marketing

The Runtime owns every timed trial. Onset, response, and dropped frames are logged per trial and exported with the data — not averaged away.

Visual onset on VSYNC via requestAnimationFrame. Responses via performance.now(). Audio on the Web Audio clock with ≤10 ms audio–visual SOA variance. Calibration at session start.

When a reviewer asks how you know the RTs are accurate, you attach the calibration and frame census — not a changelog screenshot.

Visual onset
Scheduled on VSYNC via requestAnimationFrame, with intended-vs-actual onset recorded per trial.
Response
performance.now() stamps on every key-down/key-up, click, and touch event.
Audio
Pre-decoded PCM buffers scheduled on AudioContext.currentTime; ≤10 ms audio–visual SOA variance.
Calibration
Refresh-rate estimation, frame-drop census, and an optional audio-latency probe each session.
Telemetry
Per-trial dropped and late frame counts stored beside the response data, not aggregated away.

Bring your next Arabic study to Biruni

We are building with a small group of MENA labs before general availability. If your work needs accurate timing, real Arabic rendering, and in-Kingdom data residency, we want to hear what your study requires.

What selected groups get
A complimentary 12-month Lab license: 5 author seats, 2,500 participant tokens, full norms access.
Who we're looking for
Research groups in cognitive psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and education across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.
What we ask in return
Run one real study, publish one paradigm to Open Materials, and tell us candidly where we're wrong.
